Angel Tree - 2013.

12/13/2013 - Angel Tree 2013

An attitude of gratitude…

That’s what employees at Charlotte’s office showed on Friday, December 13, 2013 as they gathered gifts for their 2013 Salvation Army Angel Tree benefiting families in need during this Holiday Season.  This year the team supported the holiday needs of 8 local children that will now have a much merrier Christmas.

Driven by the simple lesson of an old Proverb, “Love thy neighbor”, joined forces with the local Salvation Army chapter to help out, and plans similar projects on a regular basis.  The Angel Tree program provides Christmas assistance to those in need in the local community.  Families register children age 14 and under to receive new Christmas gifts for the holidays.  Once registered, each child's information is placed on an angel  to be adopted.

Along with supporting the local community, the project also provided another great opportunity for team building and camaraderie in a company known and recognized for its happy employees and outstanding teamwork. Charlotte Business Journal has recognized us one of the best places to work in Charlotte, as well as one of the healthiest.

“Giving back to the community is an important part of life. This is the community that we live in, that supports us, and we enjoy events like this that allow our employees to help folks that are less fortunate” said CEO Keith Luedeman. “ We have a great and caring team here, and I appreciate all that they do!We challenge others in our industry and our business community to follow our example and help us take care of those who aren’t able to take care of themselves. By providing them with basic needs, we are empowering them to become productive citizens with meaningful lives.”
